day 1: ARRIVAL TO KRANJSKA GORA.

main attractions: nice alpine village, mayor wintersports centre.

day 2: KRANJSKA GORA-BLED

tour goes alongside Julian Alps and Sava Dolinka river.&50 km The last 20 km go through valley of untouched Radovna stream.
main attractions: town of Bled with beautiful lake, island and castle.
we liked: boat trip on Lake Bled and bell of wishes in Mary's church.

day 3 BLED-BOHINJ.

tour goes through Sava Bohinjka valley, flat.&40 km
main attractions: typical Slovene village Bohinjska Bela.

day 4: BOHINJ. (DAY OF REST)

easy route through Upper and Lower&possible round trip 30 km Bohinj valley.
main attractions:untouched alpine region with pastures, haystacks and farms.
we liked: local pubs with excellent Slovene food.

day 5: BOHINJ -TOLMIN.

valley route, some lower passes, goes partly by train&44 km through 6 km tunnel.
main attractions: very narrow, partly canyon-like valley of Baška grapa.

day 6: TOLMIN-BOVEC.

Soča valley only. Lightly upwards.&45 km
main attractions: wider area of WWI fights of Isonzo front: different monuments.

day 7: BOVEC-KRANJSKA GORA.

first through Upper Soča valley of Trenta, then&50 km a mayor mountain pass of Vršič (1611 m above sea level).
main attractions: Triglav national park. WWI fortifications, heart of Julian Alps.
we liked: Trenta valley- beautiful scenery, mountain peaks of 2500 m!

day 8: DEPARTURE FROM KRANJSKA GORA.
